Brent Mawdsley

Brent lives in Vancouver, BC, and is the Square Dance Program Chairperson for BC Festival 2017.  He calls the Mainstream, Plus, and A1 programs, as well as cueing rounds, and entertaining community groups with an introduction to modern square dancing.  Brent is a club caller for Brent’s Bunch, the Swinging Singles, the Rainbow Squares, and the Chilliwack Rhythm Reelers, and calls for dance weekends and special events throughout the Pacific Northwest.  In 2012, Brent and his wife Therese were awarded the Caller Couple Scroll of Honour by the FVS&RDA in recognition of their dedicated service to the square dance community.

Margaret Beatty

Margaret is a cuer for Motiv8ors, Chuckwagon 8's, and Rhythm 8's.

Ken Crisp

Ken Crisp is a caller/cuer for Century House Squares.

Bill Cave

Bill began learning to call Mainstream square dance just over a year ago under the mentorship of Nick Turner in Williams Lake where Bill and his wife Jan dance with the Stampede Whirlaways.

Steve Edlund is a 'plus' caller for Surrey Square Wheelers in Langley, and Royal Swingers in Burnaby.

Merv calls and Sandy cues for ‘Thompson Valley Stars’ in Kamloops (Mainstream), and at their ‘Plus’ club in Chase, BC. They also teach rounds and square dancing in Kamloops.

Gary Dean

Debra and Raymond Schmidt live in Parksville.  They call and cue for the Sand Dollars, the Circle & Squares Plus club, and the Amalgam-Eighters.

Peter and Stella Tennant are cuers for The Rhythm Rounds in Vernon.

Roy & Margean Viken

Roy and Margean Viken call and cue for the Last Chance Squares in Boise, Idaho.

Heather (Wallace) Reynolds

Heather is the caller/cuer for the Abbotsford Grand Squares, beginner/mainstream caller for the Swinging Singles, and the 2016 Scroll of Honour recipient.

John Corrigan

John Corrigan is a Mainstream/Plus/A1/A2 caller for Town 'n Country, Maple Ridge.

Pat Meyer

Pat Meyer currently lives in Aldergrove.  She has cued for clubs all over the interior when living in Chase and Kamloops.  She now cues for the White Rockers.

Mary Milton

Mary and Ron started round rancing in 1996 and have taught beginners to Ph. lV. They cue at festivals, conventions, and special dances.

Glen Eliasson

Glen and Audrey Eliasson teach and cue beginners to Phase IV for their round dance club, the Kensington Strollers. Glen presently calls mainstream for the St. Peter 2x4’s, the Bon Accord Kick-a-Boo Kids, and the annual Camrose Rose City Swingers Campout.

Helen Maddeaux

Helen Maddeaux is a cuer (Phase 3, 4 & 5) from Nanaimo.

Wendy Winterhalder

Wendy Winterhalder lives in Enderby, but  cues for the Salmon Arm Squares.  She cues Phase II waltz and two-step, as well as Phase III cha-cha, rhumba and foxtrot.

Rick & Kathy Utter

Rick and Kathy Utter have been calling for 32 years. 25 of those were for the Swan Valley Swingers of Creston, BC. They presently call for the Kootenai Kloggers in Bonners Ferry, Idaho and travel throughout the western US and Canada. Having called at numerous state, provincial & national conventions in Canada and the US they have become known for their singing call duets.

Gary Dodds & Pat Zeeman

Garry has been calling for about 53 years.  He is involved in Caller Training.  Pat has been cueing for over 30 years and also participated in many festivals. Currently, Garry calls for the Travelling Squares (Nanaimo), Frontier Twirlers (Victoria), Star Twirlers (Plus – Victoria) and Star Twirlers Advanced Workshop.  He also teaches classes for new dancers, Plus and Advanced dancers. 
Pat cues for Travelling Squares (Nanaimo), Frontier Twirlers (Victoria), Star Twirlers (Plus – Victoria). Garry and Pat were awarded the Sillery Award last summer.

Pat Mahoney

Patricia has been involved in square and round dancing since the early 90’s, and has cued in both Canada and the United States at various conventions and week-end events through the years.  Of late, she cues in Calgary and Edmonton as a guest cuer, but on a regular schedule. Patricia lives in Calgary.

Alan Ellis

Alan Ellis comes from Spruce Grove Alberta.  Alan is the Edmonton area's newest caller.  He picked up the mike for the first time in 2013.  Last year in Spruce Grove he open a club with nine dancers teaching an introduction to modern square dancing.  Alan has attended two USA National conventions and he has called at one USA West convention and three Alberta conventions. He has also guest called at numerous clubs and campouts. 

Susan Morris

Susan Morris is the teacher for Samena Squares (Mainstream) in Kirkland, WA and the caller for Cascade Crossfires Plus Club, Woodinville, WA. She is the chairwoman of the Women In Calling committee, Callerlab.

JP Slater

JP Slater calls Mainstream through C1 for Squares Across The Border in Vancouver. As a member of the Vancouver & District Caller Teacher Association, he also calls at association events like the Corn Cob Caper & New Dancer Midterm Prom.

Jean Wood

As a new caller, Jean started calling Mainstream and Contra in the Thompson-Shuswap and Okanagan early in 2016.

Dan & Anita Adams

Dan calls and Anita cues for the Chilliwack Rhythm Reelers.

Allan Peterson

Allan Peterson has been calling for the Enderby River-Dancers (formerly Grand Squares & Cliffhangers) since 1997, teaching for Vernon Star Country since 2007, and cueing for them for the past 6 years.
